Last Thursday of every month	Jassen in the Swiss Club Once a month the Jassers meet in the Swiss Club join them for a game or maybe just a drink

First Sunday of every month	Swiss Table Jeden ersten Sonntag im Monat um 13.00 Uhr. Gemütliches Treffen zum Mittagessen in schönster Umgebung im Lord Neethlingshof in Stellenbosch. Einige Bilder siehe unter News. Reservationen unter Tel. 021-8838966 bis jeweils am Samstag vorher (bitte “Swiss Table“ erwähnen). Past events

Jassen Weekend in Montagu 9 – 11 September 2011

This year was the eleventh edition of the Jass weekend at Mimosa Lodge. We all got there in the course of Friday afternoon and met in the lounge for drinks. The evening started with a four course dinner, followed with four rounds of “Schieber”.
On Saturday some went for a round of golf. Our hosts Fida and Bernhard Hess organised a cycling outing of about 16 km to the Brandy distillery “Kingna”. We could do a tour of the distillery, taste Brandy and enjoyed a braai. In the afternoon we started the “Coiffeur”-Jass. The dinner was another culinary highlight, after which we continued the jassen and the last ones finished that round at 1:00h in the morning!
In the final were Ernst Heusser, Tony Hug, Werner Erne & Andrea Hauser. Andrea won the final and got a new trophy which was crafted by Sepp Hess. Mikayla Hug won the children’s trophy. There were many prizes to be won, including Weekend away, wellness, wine and meat hamper!
We thank the organizers Fida, Bernhard and the Mimosa Lodge team for once again spoiling us and looking forward to the next year in the 2nd week of September 2012.
